Our 2.5-hour Island Tour is our number one selling kayak tour for a decade! We do offer other tours and times through our website. This kayak tour is great for beginners looking to learn how to kayak or for experienced kayakers looking for a certified local guide to point out the sights. The Island tour can paddle up to 7 miles and will include sights of some of the tallest peaks in the state, including two 14,000 peaks, Grays and Torreys, the Gore Range, and the Ten Mile Range. Guests can expect to see numerous types of birds including our resident Bald Eagles, Ospreys, and Great Blue Herons. On rare occasions, Moose, Beavers, and Mule deer can be spotted. This is a fully narrated Eco-tour from your kayak, stories can include mining history, Moose ecology, or Native American History. Each tour is different and exciting! Since this is a group activity please arrive promptly. Those arriving untimely will be asked to reschedule their trip based on availability. There will be no refund.
